Dataroom is made by the team at Corgi — the AI-native insurance company for startups. We built it in 2026 to solve a problem we had ourselves: insurance runs on documents, and sending, signing, and tracking them meant stitching together five different tools. So we made the one we wished existed.
Every policy is a PDF. Every deal needs a signature. Every founder we cover gets a certificate of insurance — and we need to know the moment they open it.
We were running that motion across a sharing tool, an e-signature tool, a data room, and a spreadsheet to keep score: seven tabs, four bills, and no single view of what happened to a document after we hit send. None of it talked to each other.
Dataroom collapses all of that into one workspace. Share a link, collect a signature, open a room, and watch the analytics — in the same place, under one login. We built it for Corgi first. It worked well enough that we decided to share it.
